Sri Lankan Pineapple Chutney Recipe

Ingredients :
1 ripe peeled pineapple
1 1/2 cup sugar
1cup coconut milk
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 chopped green chilli
1 inch cinnamon (crushed)
3 cardamoms (crushed)
2 cloves (crushed)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 cup water
10 curry leaves (optional)
3 tbsp vegetable oil
salt to taste


Direction :
first chop pineapple. next heat oil in a pan under low fire and add mustard seeds, after fry it add onion, green chilli, curry leaves and fry it to for golden brown color. after fry it add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and stir well. now add chilli powder, curry powder, turmeric powder, water, pineapple and stir will, now cook covered for 15 minutes. next stir well and add coconut milk and cook another 10 minutes. then add sugar and cook another 10 minutes under low fire.
