Cucumber Salad (Pipinchna Saladaya)

Ingredients :
200g Sliced Cucumber
50g chopped Onion
2 chopped Green Chilli
10 chopped Coriander leaves
1/2tsp Lime Juice
1/2tsp Pepper Powder
1/2 1 cups Curd
2tsp sugar
Salt to taste


Directions :
Curd, Sugar, Salt mix together into a small bowl and stir  well. then Cucumber, Onion, Green Chilli, Coriander leaves mix into another large bowl and add prepared curd mixture.

How to Make Soya Meat Mashroom Salad(TVP Bimmal Salada)

Ingredients :
100g soya meat
100g fresh mushrooms
100g sliced onion
50g carrot
50g beans
2 green chilli
30g raising
30g cheese
100g sliced tomato
1/2tsp pepper
oil for frying
salt to taste

Directions :
cut soya meat and mushrooms to small pieces and mix with salt and deep fry it to golden color. next cut carrots, beans, green chilli, and mix all ingredients together and serve freshly.

Ingredients and Recipe for Apple Ginger Carrot Juice

50g carrot
5g chopped ginger
1 apple
water
sugar
1/2tsp lime juice
1 small fresh mint spring
salt



Directions :
clean fresh fruit and mint sprng, and cut in to smal pieces and blend it well. then mix water, lime juice, sugar and salt to your like. serve with ice cream.

How to Make Brinjal Tempered (Wambatu Baduma)

Ingredients :
250g brinjal (wambatu/eggplant)
50g chopped onion
2tsp chopped ginger
2tsp chopped garlic
50g chopped tomato
1/2tsp turmeric powder
2 chopped green chilli
1/2tsp chilli powder
1tsp cumin powder
3tsp vinegar
1tsp ground mustard
2tsp sugar
salt to taste
oil for fry



Directions :
cut brinjal to 2cm x 1/2cm pieces.mix together with turmeric and salt, then fry it to golden brown color and set a side. next heat 5tsp oil and add onion, ginger and garlc fry it to golden brown color. next add other all ingredients and cook about 5 minutes.

Sri Lankan Recipe for Soya Curry (TVP Maluwa)

Ingredients :
100g TVP (soya)
30d chopped onion
1tbsp chopped garlic
1tbsp chopped ginger
2tsp chopped green chilli
50g chopped tomato
1 tbsp chilli powder
1tbsp curry powder
1/4tsp turmeric powder
5 curry leaves
3tbsp oil
salt to taste
1/2cup coconut milk



Directions :
add tvp into hot water and soak about30 minutes, then squeeze to remove water out. next heat oil and add ginger, garlic and onion fry it about golden brown color and add green chilli, tomato, chilli powder, curry powder, turmeric powder, salt and tvp. then fry it 2 minutes under low fire and add coconut milk and cook another 10 minutes. (stir between cooking)

Recipe For Long Bean Curry (Mea Karal Maluwa)

Ingredients :
500g long beans (cut into 3cm pieces)
1cup coconut milk
50g chopped onion
2 chopped green chilli
1inch cinnamon
5 curry leaves
2tbsp chopped garlic
1 1/2tsp chilli powder
1 1/2tsp curry powder
1/2tsp turmeric powder
3tbsp oil
salt to taste



Directions :
heat oil and add onion, garlic, green  chilli, cinnamon, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, and curry powder, and long bean. cook it about 2 minutes under low fire. next add  salt and coconut milk. then cook it anoyher 5 minutes.stir every 1 minutes or so.do not cover.

How to Cook Fried Banana Flower Sambal (Kesl Muwa Sambola)

Ingredients :
1 banana flower (kehel muwa)
5tsp ground maldive fish
4tsp chilli pieces
2tsp curry powder
2 cloves
3 cardamoms
1/2tsp turmeric powder
2tsp lime juice
4tsp sugar
6tsp oil



Directions :
chop banana flower and add in to salt, turmeric powder mix water, keep it about 10 minutes and after drain water. next heat oil and add maldive fish, chilli pieces, curry powder, cloves, cardamoms, turmeric powder,
and cook about 10 minutes under low fire. next add sugar, lime juice and salt and cook another 1 minute stir between.

Ingredients :
1 banana blossom
8tsp oil
50g sliced onion
5 curry leaves
2 sliced green chilli
2tsp ground maldive fish

500g ash plantains
1cup coconut milk
1tsp curry powder
1/2tsp chilli powder
1/2tsp cumin powder

HOW TO MAKE BREADFRUIT CURRY (DEL MALUWA)

Ingredients :
1 medium size breadfruit (Del)
1tbsp chopped garlic
50g sliced onion
5 curry leaves
2 chopped green chilli
1/2tsp turmeric powder
1tsp curry powder
1/2tsp chilli powder
1/2tsp pepper powder
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1/2tsp chilli pieces
1 inch cinnamon
3tbsp oil
1cup thick coconut milk
1cup water
salt  to taste



Directions :
cut bread fruit in to pieces and add in to a pan with water, half of onion, half of garlic, green chilli, turmeric powder, half of curry powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, and cinnamon. then cook it about 20 minutes, (don't forget stir in between. next heat oil in a saucepan  and add mustard seeds, after frying it add other all ingredients and fry about 1 minute. then add it to the bread fruit curry with coconut milk and cook another 5 minutes.

CUCUMBER CURRY RECIPE (PIPINCHNA MALUWA)

Ingredients :
500g cucumbers
1tsp grounded umbalakada (maldivefish)
2cup coconut milk
50g sliced onion
2 sliced green chilli
1/4tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2tsp turmeric powder
2tsp washed raw rice
1 inch rampe
1 inch cinnamon
2tbsp chopped garlic
10 curry leaves
1tbsp mustard paste



Directions :
remove skin of the cucumbers and cut in to your chois, next add all ingredients for a pan and cook about 15 minutes.

50g sliced tomato

first cut brinjal into ting and long pieces, then mix with salt and turmeric powder, next put it about 15 minutes for season, then deep fry it and place it on a tissue paper to drain the oil. next mix together all ingredients and serve.

100g potato
10 curry leaves
3cups coconut milk

1tsp curry powder

500g white rice flour
200g undu flour
water
salt to taste
2tbsn yeast
some little hot water
some little sugar



Directions :
first prepare the yeast mixture. mix together some little warm water and add yeast and sugar then mix well and keep it for 10 minutes. now mix rice flour and undu flour in a large bowl and add the yeast mixture and mix well together all. then add a little water and mix againand let the mixture rise 3 hours. after 3 hours add salt and mix again. now heat a flat nonstick pan and spread a little oil using a paper towel. then add a large spoonful of mixture at a time and cook them until well done.

ALUWA RECIPE

Ingredients :
1cups roasted white rice flour
3cups water
2cups sugar
20g cashew nut peaces
4 ground cardamom



Directions :
first roast the rice flour in large pan under medium heat. and keep about 1/2cup of roasted flour for dusting and coating. then boil water and sugar in a another pan until form a thick line and take out the heat. now mix together flour, ground cardamom, and cashew nut and add to the sugar syrup and mix well. then quickly spread on a boar lined with waxed paper and try keep it 1/2inch thickness. then cut it in to pieces in your choice. and separate from the board and coat with keep 1/2 flour.
