Rasam Recipe

Ingredients :
1/4 cup masoor dhal
2tsp tamarind
1tsp coriander seeds
2 dried red chillies
4 water cups
1tsp cumin seeds
1/2tsp cooking oil
1/2tsp chilli powder
10 curry leaves
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1inch rampa
salt to taste

Directions :-
put in a pan water, washed dhal, chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, rampa, and boil it under low fire about 8 minute without cover and after 8 minutes cover and cook another 40 minutes. now remove from fire and stir well to dissolve dhal. next add tamarind, chilli powder and salt and cook another 5 minutes between stir. next heat oil in a another pan and add mustard seeds. after frying it mix with rasam and server it

Guava Drink Recipe (pera Beema)

 Ingredients :
2 ripe guava (pera)
1/4 tsp lemon juice
4 cups water
5 cubes ice
7 tbsp sugar

Directions :
cut guava into small pieces and remove seeds. next add all ingredients into blender and blend it well. now add into glasses and serve with ice cream.

Fruit Salad Sri Lankan Recipe (Palathuru Salada)

Ingredients :
1 ripe pineapple
1 ripe medium size papaya
100 g grapes
3 ripe banana
3 ripe mangoes
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp lime juice

Directions :
first wash all fruits well. now remove pineapple skin and wash again and cut into 1 inch size cups and put into large size bawl. next peel papaya (remove seeds) and  cut same size peaces, and remove banana skin and cut banana even into the same size. then peel mango and cut into same size. now remove grapes skin and cut each into 4 peaces. now mix together all and now add sugarsalt and lime and mix again. let it cool in a refrigerator.
